Frumentos Italian Deli: Authentic Italian Delights in Montebello

I have the pastrami with the cucumber salad, that salad is delicious my husband had the roast beef grilled philly with macaroni salad everything was so yummy, excellent customer service and this place is quiet, parking in the back of the place, the prices are ok, Frumentos also have a variety of Italian products , I love this place

What can I say except wow, amazing pastrami dig, giant proportions. Old school Italian vibe with a small grocery store feel. Been in business decades.

The Salad and pizza were freshly made and delicious! Now I only had 1 bite of a Sandwich butter the bread was soft and fluffy!! I love those kinds of details. The meat was juicy and delicious also!! If they're was a way to give more than 5 starts then I would!! I cannot wait for my next drs appointment so I can go again!! I'm so excited to try something different next time!! You should try this yourself! It's worth the wait and money!

Awesome sandwhich! Meat was very good. A little heavy on the mayo and the bread was very soft. I got the 12 inch which was plenty of food. The wait was a little over 20 min but I also went during a lunch rush.

One of my all-time favorites is The Big Goomba — a stacked Italian sandwich with capocollo, hard salami, mortadella, prosciutto, and provolone cheese, topped with lettuce, red onion, pepperoncini, muffaletta mix, and a classic vinegar/oil dressing. I usually go for the 12-inch and end up sharing... or not! Frumento’s feels like one of those rare spots that still does things the old-school way — with care, flavor, and pride in what they serve. Whether you're local or just passing through, this is definitely a place worth checking out.

Great Italian eating experience. This is an Italian jewel in Montebello. Food is beyond taste and flavor. Pizza is marvelous, Caprese Salad is perfect. Garlic pesto potato salad is thumbs up. Nice market at reasonable prices. From the outside looks not appealing but once you’re in you want taste everything. Let’s support these awesome places.

First time here got the Sweet Smoke stack and apple salad and caprese salad it is amazingly good definitely will be coming back!!! The smokes stack in the 2nd picture 1st picture is the Italys kiss

This place is a total hidden gem. Absolutely authentic experience as soon as you walk in the door. All the food options look delicious! Definitely going to try this place more often. Can't believe I've lived in Montebello for almost 5 years and only now am I trying this place!
